It has become a popular destination for many students on nature field trips. The Art Gallery was one of the first university museums in the country to be registered as a first-class art museum. It is equipped with the latest lighting facilities. Besides providing a space for artistic research and production, the Art Gallery also has many special exhibitions. The University Museum opened in March 1972. It serves as a research center for Kaya culture. In the exhibition room one can get a feeling for the roots of Korean culture by viewing objects dating from the Stone Age through the Chosun Dynasty.
