A Visit from the Department of Architecture of Universitas Pelita Harapan of Indonesia for Winter Camp
The visitors from UPH, Universitas Pelita Harapan, of Indonesia visited Kyungsung University and participated in the six-day winter camp program. The winter camp was hosted from January 4, 2015 to January 9, 2015, and total of seventy guests including 57 students and 13 Professors and staff participated in this camp.
The visitors lodged at the Kyungsung Nuri Dormitory and for the duration of six days they attended architecture and Korean language lectures, and then toured various attractions including Bulguksa in Gyeongju, Cheonmachong, Cheomseongdae, Anapji, Samsung Heavy Industries, Geoje POW Camp, Haegeumgang Theme Museum, Windy Hill, Dongbaek Island and Busan Cinema Center.
Through this visitation, Kyungsung University was able to further encourage exchange with the sister university, and promote further exchange with the students and professors of UPH. Furthermore, the International Programs Office plans to host various programs, such as this winter camp, for international students during semester breaks to contribute to financial benefits and to continuously strive toward campus internationalism.
